Kathy Rupff and her husband Evan live in Hope, NJ, with their cat Rose, and bunny Tyler. Her favored mediums include photography, painting, watercolor, and collage. Before moving to NJ, Kathy served for 18 years as a print and pre-press designer for Victory Christian Fellowship, a large international ministry in New Castle, DE, with projects including full-color mailers, billboards, CD covers, and magazines. In 2006 she developed an art program for children ages 5-11 called the “Young Artist’s Group” to inspire and encourage young artists in the church.
Kathy earned a bachelor’s degree in art from St. Mary’s College of MD in 1987; she was the only student in her graduating class to win two Superior Artist Awards. She also won their annual design contest in 2000, creating the winning logo and poster design for their annual Governor’s Cup Yacht Race. Kathy is a graduate of the School of Biblical Studies (New Castle, DE) and has continued her education at the Delaware College of Art and Design (Wilmington, DE), the Baum School of Art (Allentown, PA), and in many county-sponsored classes and workshops in DE and NJ. She is currently pursuing her certification to teach art in NJ public schools.
